WOW! What a weekend! So many awesome events going on across the UK and the rest of the world, it was incredible to see what everyone was up to. 
Here's our quick roundup of what went on - stay tuned for the full stories, we'll be sharing them across our social media as they come in!

dryrobe ambassador Blake Aldridge took the win at the Red Bull Cliff Diving event at Hell's Gate, Texas - with his final dive of the day! The series has been incredibly tight this year - with a different winner at each stop of the tour. Blake's win has come after a run of solid results, so he now tops the men's standings coming into the final events of the year.

The Scilly Swim Challenge kicked off with the 1-day event. The challenge sees swimmers take on an incredible swimming tour of 6 of the main Scilly Isles, with 6 swims averaging 2.5 km (total 15km) and 6 walks averaging 1.7 km (total 10km). More swimmers will be back again this week - taking on the challenge at a more leisurely pace and spreading the distance out over 2 days.

 Perfect conditions greeted some of the world's best triathletes as they took on the British Triathlon Mixed Relay Cup in Nottingham. Mixed Relay is set to feature for the first time at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, and five Olympians were part of the action in Nottingham. An initial 300m swim in the River Trent was followed by a 7.5km bike ride and 1.5km run before athletes handed over to their next team mate to do the same again. In total, seventeen teams of four athletes took part, including international teams from Japan, Germany, Australia and Canada.

The Sheriff, Hunter McIntyre, took 1st place in both the 3k and 15k races at the United States OCR Championships - we've heard it was an awesome weekend of racing from everyone that took part.

An incredible story from this weekend - the Lundy Swim. Two friends from Bude completed the epic swim from Hartland Point to Lundy Island - something that hasn't been done in 65 years. Steve Maclure and Gary Readman took on the challenge to raise valuable funds for 3 local charities and have blown everyone away with their awesome achievement.

 Spartans from across the UK headed to Marston Lodge to take on the Spartan Race weekend - with the Sprint, Super and 12 hour Hurricane Heat. dryrobe ambassadors got some awesome results - Conor Hancock took the win in the Men's Super (10 miles), while in the Sprint (5 miles) it was Jade Skillen taking 2nd in the Women's and Scotty Barker claiming 3rd in the Men's.

Over in Sweden, the ÖTILLÖ Swimrun World Championship took place in what can only be described as serious #dryrobeterritory - with gale force conditions adding to the challenge of the 75km race, renowned as one of the toughest one-day races in the world.

Then up in the Lake District, swimmers took to the waters of Coniston for the Chillswim, always a classic event and a real fixture on the UK open water swimming calendar.
