We’re excited to announce that we’re welcoming Irish wakeboarder David O’Caoimh to the dryrobe family as a brand ambassador. The last few years have seen David establish himself on the global wakeboard scene - racking up 3 consecutive European championship titles, as well as being named European Wakeboarder of the year for 2015, 2016 and 2017. All of this has been achieved at the age of 24 - so it’s safe to say that’s a pretty big indicator of even more awesome things to come.
David is someone we’ve been a fan of for quite some time so we’re proud to have him joining the team. As well as amazing success on the competitive side of wakeboarding - he’s also built up an incredibly dedicated following on social media - including his well known YouTube channel. Be sure to check it out for daily uploads of great content, focussing on his wakeboarding adventures and travels around the world but also giving a glimpse into his daily life plus providing top level coaching videos.
Based just outside of Dublin, David regularly travels the world to compete, train and coach in warmer climates, but has been known to keep riding out on the water through the Irish winter - as long as the lake isn’t frozen! We’re looking forward to supporting him as he embarks on a packed schedule of incredible events - first up it’s a training trip to the US before heading to Argentina for the Wakeboarding World Championships.
Here at dryrobe we’re excited to be working with David and helping him to achieve his goals - his passion for the sport he loves and his drive to push his limits constantly inspires the wakeboarding community, something massively important to us and we’re glad to be a part of.
